Respect & Relationships: Build Both...Only If You Care
About Making a Difference

Facilitated by Meggin McIntosh with special guest, Mike Domitrz
Tuesday, June 17, 2008 from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. Pacific

Full Description of Teleseminar:

Announcing a special teleseminar with guest, Mike Domitrz, to held be held live (and recorded) on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time (7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time).  Here's why I'm having Mike as my guest....

WOW! A couple of months ago I listened to the recording of a workshop led by Mr. Mike Domitrz...and then I listened to it again right away. That same day, I Googled "Mike Domitrz" (imagine...there aren't too many) so I could contact him and ask if he would consider doing a teleseminar for the people on my list--and he said YES! (Note: It's always worth asking).

If you are a speaker, consultant, teacher, coach, trainer, professor, administrator, or leader of any type, then you will want to tune in to this teleseminar (no cost). Mike will share what has allowed him to move from a sort-of-regular guy to a nationally-known speaker, author, and leader in changing the culture to prevent sexual assault among young people.

Mike Domitrz is a speaker and author who inspires people to make powerful and life changing decisions! He has several websites, and one of them that you'll want to check out is http://www.thedatesafeproject.org/about.htm.

As a participant in this teleseminar, you will discover

  • how to succeed in meshing your personal mission with your professional life
  • the many ways to make an impact while providing excellence to others
  • 3 keys to building relationships with those you're working with (and those with whom you want to work)
  • the fastest way to make it all happen in your life NOW!

The content of this teleseminar will be of use to you regardless of whether you think you're "marketing" yourself in the traditional way or whether you believe that the people you work with should just "get" how helpful you are.  Think broadly and listen in so you can learn from Mike's experience as a speaker and author.  I promise you'll learn and be able to be put into practice the ideas you take away from the teleseminar.

I'm anxious to learn more from him than I already have.  I hope that you will join me and other colleagues from around the continent for this practical and inspiring teleseminar with Mike Domitrz (and just in case you're wondering, his last name is pronounced like Amish, but with a 'D' at the beginning).

A little more about our special guest:

Mike Domitrz has been making a difference in the lives of others for over a decade by working with students, parents, educators, professionals, organizations, and the media throughout the country. He is one of the leading experts on healthy dating, consent, date rape, and sexual assault awareness. His unique ability to connect with audiences of all ages and demographics results in presentations that are both educational and entertaining. Mike has a gift of understanding precisely when to engage students with his hilarious sense of humor ~ while at the same time knowing the exact moment to draw serious and hard-hitting emotion from each individual.  To register, just click here.

Words that Fall Out of the Keyboard: Writing Naturally

Facilitated by Meggin McIntosh with special guest, Gini Cunningham
Wednesday, May 7, 2008 from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. Pacific

Full Description of Teleseminar:

Barring medical conditions, you never hear of anyone with walker’s block, talker’s block, eater’s block, or the like…so what’s up with claiming to have writer’s block? Writing can be just as natural as walking, talking, and eating; i.e., your words can just fall out of your keyboard.

My special guest for this teleseminar (to be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. Pacific) is Gini Cunningham, M.Ed.  Gini has been a teacher of more subjects and grade levels than seem possible, a college instructor, staff developer, and author. Her latest project is *Tips, Tales, and Tidbits to Nourish New Teachers: The All-in-One Guide for a Successful First Year,* a book she has written since last July—and which, I have no doubt, will be snatched up by a major publisher before too long.

Here’s what you can expect if you join this teleseminar (either live or via the recording):

1. Ideas from two writers (Gini & Meggin) about

  *how to get ideas,
*how to put ideas into written motion,
*whether writing everyday is a good idea
*what to do when you feel depleted
*ways to keep the ‘flow’ going.

2. Answers to questions that you submit (just email me and then Gini & I will endeavor to have some ideas and answers for you during the call)

This is a not-to-be-missed teleseminar if you are a writer, want to be a writer, think about being a writer, or want to support someone who is a writer.  Plan to be there on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. Pacific.

To register, just go to www.meggin.com, click on the calendar and go to the May 7 to register. There is no charge so you’ll just click through and be taken to my secure shopping cart.

Please alert others to this opportunity...especially if you know they are interested in learning more about writing so naturally that it feels like words are just falling out of the keyboard.

Do *Only* What Only *You* Can Do: Working with Virtual Assistants
Facilitated by Meggin McIntosh with special guest speaker, Heather Nelson
Recorded on Thursday, March 13, 2008

Full Description of Teleseminar:

**You're busy.
**You're super busy.
**You sometimes think, 'I can't believe I am doing this ______ (task, activity, errand, chore, project).'
**You've been heard to say, "If only I had someone to help me."

Actually, this *is* an option...You can hire someone to help you, and in particular, you can hire a virtual assistant. According to Wikipedia, "A Virtual Assistant (or simply VA), is an independent contractor providing administrative, technical, or sometimes creative assistance to clients...Virtual assistants work from their own office (hence "virtual"), thus making it a fairly popular (and growing) profession. It is estimated that there are about 5,000-8,000 virtual assistants worldwide. Common modes of communication and data delivery include the Internet, File Transfer Protocol (FTP), and fax machine. Although the occupation gives a degree of independence, work is on a contractual basis, and a long-
lasting cooperation is standard.

Learn from this free teleseminar "Do *Only* What Only *You* Can Do" which was recorded on Thursday, March 13 from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. (Pacific).  My special guest was Heather Nelson of Champion Assistants (www.ChampionAssistants.com).

To receive the handouts and the recording, just click here. You'll be taken to my secure shopping cart, but the class is free, so there's no need to put in credit card info.  Just "check out."

Here's some information about Heather (she's quite remarkable):

Ms. Nelson is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and has a strong background of project management at both technology and financial services companies. She began her career in the US, worked for nearly eight years in Europe, in countries including Germany, the UK, France and Sweden, has traveled to countries including China, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Argentina, Brazil, India, South Africa and nearly every European country (although she is now back in Seattle, WA (US). Heather's industry knowledge spans IT, financial services and insurance. Over the course of her career she has worked in the areas of project management, sales and business development, marketing and even human resources. Heather Nelson is a well-seasoned traveler and understands the needs of internationally-minded clients. Considering the fact that she is bi-lingual in German, Heather also understands the imperative for using native speaker translators who are culturally sensitive to the business habits of the target country.

In this teleseminar, here's what you will learn:

**How to decide to use a VA,
**Ways to access virtual assistants
**Best ideas for using a VA,
**Considerations when choosing one (or more) virtual assistants.

I have been using virtual assistants for the last 4+ years...and have literally had people from all over the globe helping me with different projects. Sometimes I have a VA that lives in
my own city and other times, they are on the opposite side of the world. I've learned a great deal about this process through trial and error--and I wish I'd could have take this teleseminar years ago. I'm happy to be able to offer it to you.

What Would Cinderella Do?

Facilitated by Meggin McIntosh with special guest speaker, Dr. Julie-Ann McFann
Recorded on Thursday, February 21, 2008

Full Description of Teleseminar:

Most fairytales are viewed as romantic indoctrination for little girls. However, if you take a closer look, you can discover a wealth of wisdom that you can use to ensure success in both your career and the other parts of your life. This unique teleseminar, led by
Dr. Julie-Ann McFann, the New Professor Mentor Coach, will highlight strategies that Cinderella employed--and that enabled her to "live happily ever after." It is a choice, after all...

My special guest began her career as a special education teacher before fulfilling a life
dream of earning a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with a specialization in faculty development. For the past 10 years, Julie-Ann worked in a university setting with teachers and professors to help them achieve their teaching and career goals. Until recently, Dr.
McFann's coaching practice focused primarily on helping new professors navigate the early stages of their academic careers. But lately, other women began seeking out the wisdom she has acquired during the journey called Life.

Being the playful sort, she was in the process of writing a personal development guidebook for women about the wisdom that can be gleaned from fairy tales when the idea of being a "Fairy Godmother" Life Coach struck her. She says, "My life has been nothing short of magical since finding my true calling as a mentor."

If you're ready to be challenged a bit, enlightened to an extent, and to have some fun, then join me as I talk with--and learn from--Julie-Ann McFann, Ph.D. There is no cost whatsoever to be part of this teleseminar-so how can you resist?

To receive the recording for this teleseminar, click here.

The people we want on the teleseminar either "get it" or want to "get it"...that they can choose to live happily ever after. They also understand that it might involve making some changes, embracing some realities, and then going for their dreams. If this is you, please
sign up right away.

To learn more about Julie, go to one or both of her websites:

New Professor Mentor Coaching
http://www.newprofessormentor.com

Fairy Godmother Coaching
http://www.fairygodmothercoaching.com

Julie says, "Who am I? Why, I am the fairy godmother to academic women, of course!"

Is this irresistible, or what!? If it's not to you...then forward to those you know who would find this "just right" for them.

Again, to register, just go to www.meggin.com, click on the calendar, scroll to 2/21 and you can sign up there. Or just go to this tiny URL link: http://tinyurl.com/2pem7d

I hope you or some of your friends, family, or colleagues are able to attend! No cost, whatsoever.

You "Gotta" Have a Website--and It Better Be Good: Managing Your Web Presence and Web Development Process

Facilitated by Meggin McIntosh with special guest speaker, Sharon Sutherlin
Recorded on Thursday, January 3, 2008

Full Description of Teleseminar:

**Do you have a website? If the answer is "No," then you better be on this call.

**Do you have a website, but you apologize for it? Then you better be on this call.

**Do you have a great website--and you have some great ideas for 'next steps'? Then you better be on this call.

The Internet is mainstream. Period. It's a critical means for consumers, students,
customers, clients (pretty much everyone) to access information about you, your
services, your company, your organization, your institution.

On January 3, 2008, I have a special guest, joining us from the Los Angeles area: Sharon Sutherlin, also known as “Your Royal Webness” (www.YourRoyalWebness.com). Sharon will be joining us to share information on “Managing Your Web Presence and Web Development Process.”
The purpose of this teleseminar is to educate you about having a web presence and the project management aspects of web design and development. By participating in this teleseminar, you will learn to be:
  • An effective communicator who understands and takes ownership of your website project life-cylce and
  • A well-informed consumer of design services.
Amazingly, there is no cost for this class—but it is invaluable to you if you consider…
  • Between 750 *million* and 1 *billion* people are on the internet on a daily basis.
  • 30 to 50% percent of them purchase or sign up for something.

If you don’t have a web presence, you can bet your competitors do!

Your website is just another tool for establishing your professional presence. Having a poorly-designed website detracts from your presence. Having a well- (and even spectacularly-designed) website increases your overall professional presence and should be part of your existing marketing strategy.

**Note: It doesn’t matter if you are “marketing” for profit or not-for-profit….you are marketing, nonetheless (i.e., if you have any intention of anyone paying attention to what you have to offer!)

Having a website these days is a necessity much like insurance, for example. And, like a
good insurance portfolio, great websites aren’t cheap and they require ongoing maintenance. If you plan carefully, the Return on Investment (ROI) of your website project can be huge.

My guest, Sharon Sutherlin, holds an M.B.A. in Technology Management and maintains and has designed several of my websites including:

  • www.Meggin.com (currently undergoing re-design)

Since you are doing valuable contributory work in your personal and professional life, see if these statements are true:
  • You want to have greater impact and influence.
  • You want to get your message across.
  • You want to be seen and heard.
  • You want to have people know the good news about what you are accomplishing and the difference you are making.
  • You know that once you start to get the word out, then you will have even more opportunities to contribute to the world (on a small or large scale).
It's not easy to do get noticed for everything you do-or you'd already be doing so. Jill Lublin, best-selling author, speaker, and consultant will help us learn ways to get noticed, gain attention, and get the word out!

You are aware that there is plenty of bad news all around, but our teleseminar speaker specializes in good news. Jill Lublin is the founder of GoodNews Media, Inc., a company specializing in positive news. She is currently the host of the nationally syndicated radio show, "Do the Dream," where she interviews celebrities who have achieved their dreams. Jill has been featured in the New York Times, Woman's Day, and Entrepreneur Magazine, as well as on ABC, NBC, CBS radio and TV national affiliates and is creator and host of a new TV show called The Connecting Minute.

During this 90-minute teleseminar, Jill will help us learn ways to gain visibility and even more importantly, credibility. She will teach us how to determine our audience, ways to craft our story, and why people should pay attention to us, our services, our products, and so on, vs. paying attention to others'.

A little about my special teleseminar guest. I have known "of" Jill Lublin for several years and have her books. In October, I was fortunate enough to be speaking at a conference on the same day she was and we both heard each others' session-and we connected! I asked if she'd be willing to be a guest on a teleseminar and she agreed! I am extremely pleased and honored that she did so and I'm anxious to learn more from her.

Jill Lublin is the author of two national bestselling books, Guerrilla Publicity (which is considered the PR bible and is used in university marketing courses) and Networking Magic (which went to #1 on Barnes and Noble). She is a renowned strategist and international speaker. As the CEO of the strategic consulting firm, Promising Promotion, Jill has created successful techniques that implement bottom line results. Jill's third book, Get Noticed, will be out in May of 2008 with McGraw-Hill.

If you want to participate in this_believe it or not_free_teleseminar, please sign up today. Remember, there is no cost whatsoever. I'll be sending you more information as we get closer, but reserve your spot now. Please send this along to others you know who are doing valuable and important work and who could benefit from Jill's expertise. Talk to you then!

Facilitated by Meggin McIntosh with special guest speaker, Chris Cox
Recorded on Thursday, December 6, 2007

Full Description of Teleseminar:
Moving at 100+ miles per hour in a specially-constructed racecar can actually teach you
a few lessons about life.  In this dynamic teleseminar, my special guest, Chris Cox (more info below) shares some of these life lessons from her own experience as a racecar driver.  You’ll learn lessons that include:
  • Getting out of the driveway,
  • Looking where you want to go,
  • Having a personal pit crew, and
  • Passing.
Chris (of course, if you know her) has put these lessons into a high energy, motivational class that will spark your passion to live the life of your dreams.  You will use a "track map" to create, or reconnect with, the dreams of your life.  You’ll leave “revved up” with new tools and energy to reach your goals and achieve greater results!

Do NOT miss this class!

About my guest:

Chris Cox is the Owner and Chief Learning Officer of Amplitude, LLC (www.AmplitudeTraining.com), a company focused on amplifying the results of leaders and teams.  As an entrepreneur and business leader, Chris has developed a thriving career as a professional speaker, leadership and team trainer, motivator and executive coach.  (Not to mention racecar driver!)  Her proven principles and strategies are shaping individuals and teams throughout the nation.  We are incredibly fortunate to have her join us in December for this teleseminar.

From her powerful and motivating keynotes and workshops, to challenging and
insightful facilitation and consulting, Chris simply, yet powerfully, teaches others how to work toward their goals, communicate and work more effectively with others, amplify their business and personal results and live the life of their dreams.

Tell everyone you know (friends, family, colleagues) so that they can sign up….This is an opportunity for you and others to learn (and potentially to change the direction and trajectory of your life)…

I happen to know what Chris’ fees are…and if you had to pay to hear Chris…it would cost you a pretty penny (although it would be worth it).  This teleseminar gives you the amazing chance to hear from her for no more than the financial cost of a long-distance telephone call to access the bridgeline you’ll call to be part of the class.

Developing Your Curriculum Vitae

Taught by Meggin McIntosh
Recorded on Thursday, November 8, 2007

Full Description of Teleseminar:
Here's the likely scenario:
  1. You learned to prepare a resumé when you were in college.
  2. The rule was that your resumé should “never be more than one page.”
Well, that was all fine and good when you were 21 and graduating from college...
although even then, you may have found it difficult to keep a resumé to one page.
Once you progressed on into your life and career, then one, two (or even three or four) pages have hardly been sufficient to capture even the essence of what you have accomplished.
You have reached a point where you need to develop your curriculum vitae (also know as
a vita or CV).
Your curriculum vitae is a much longer document than a resumé, and brevity is not even a consideration.  When you develop your curriculum vita, you have an opportunity
to provide details about your education, career, awards, publications, research, presentations, training, and so forth.  It is a much more complete picture of who you
are and what you have done up to this point.
By listening to the teleseminar and using the accompanying handouts and webpage, you will learn:
  1. The purpose of a curriculum vita,
  2. How (and why) a CV differs from a resumé,
  3. A reasonable structure for a CV,
  4. Ways to capture what you have done that belongs on your vitae.
If you haven't done so already, sign up here for Developing Your Curriculum Vitae.
You will be taken to my shopping cart.  Since there is no charge, you won’t need to
put in any credit card information. You will then receive a link with the handouts and a recording of the class. You can listen to the teleseminar on your computer or you can download it to an MP3 player.

Leverage Your Knowledge as an Educator
Facilitated by Meggin McIntosh with special guest speaker, Paulette Ensign
Recorded on Thursday, October 11, 2007

Full Description of Teleseminar:

This message is only for educators (K - 12, college, university, trainers) and entrepreneurs who have valuable knowledge about one or more topics. And in particular for those who have not been able to get that knowledge into a format that you can share with others.

What an opportunity you have if this is the case for you. Paulette Ensign, Chief Visionary of Tips Products International of San Diego has agreed to be my guest on this live (and free) teleseminar on Thursday, October 11, 2007 from 4:00 - 5:00. I wanted to give you ample time to plan your schedule so that you can attend.

There is no cost for the seminar--she is a former classroom teacher, turned organizer, turned author and speaker (big time). When I emailed her and asked if she would be
willing to speak to "my folks," she said yes!

I first learned about Paulette Ensign many years ago when I started buying pretty much every book and tape series on organization and time management. She had a tape series I bought from Career Track and I listened to it MANY times.

Then, about 2 1/2 years ago, I heard her on a teleseminar from SpeakerNetNews. I was driving to Pahrump, NV and she started talking about sharing "tips". Her ideas made so much sense to me that when I got to Pahrump, I checked into my hotel (motel?) and went to Walmart and bought a ton of index cards.

I started generating the categories and lists of ideas for what has eventually become my
Top Ten Productivity Tips (www.TopTenProductivityTips.com) and my Keys to Keeping Chaos at Bay (www.KeepingChaosatBay.com).

So recently, after hearing her on another teleseminar, getting inspired again, I bought her
6 CD set: Using Tips to Promote Your Business. My brain started firing up and I thought of all the jillions of applications for her ideas for teachers, principals, professors, entrepreneurs, organizers, consultants, etc.

If you don't want to make any extra money with your tip booklets, you don't have to--you can give them away or donate them or whatever works for you.

OR, you can use her ideas and make some extra money on the side. Use it, spend it, or donate it. It's up to you.

Do NOT miss this live teleseminar if you have knowledge and ideas that you want to share.

Just go to my website to sign up (www.meggin.com and then the Calendar page). You can read more about the teleseminar there, too.

YAY! I look forward to receiving your registration. Send this along to others who you
think will be interested.

     ************************************************************
Why am I offering you these free special preview teleseminars?

This information will also be applicable whether you work for yourself or are part of a university, school district, business, or government organization.
