The Make a Difference (and Make Money) Teaching Teachers workshop will be held at the following location:

Reno Courtyard Marriott
6855 South Virginia Street
Reno, Nevada  89511
Phone:  1.775.851.8300

The reserved block of rooms will be held through July 1, 2008.  To make your reservations, call the friendly people at Marriott (775.851.8300) and tell them that you are with the Emphasis on Excellence, Inc. group in order to get the special room rates (only $139/night for a single king room).  If you’ve never stayed at a Courtyard Marriott, you’ll see why this is such a great venue.  Your room is spacious and is designed for the business traveler, so you have places to work, read, think, and relax.  You can also use the free high speed internet access, a microwave, coffee maker/tea service, and the like.  Plus, the beds are comfortable!

For our workshop, the Courtyard Marriot offers pleasant surroundings where we can meet formally during the day in our conference room and then informally into the afternoon and evening.  It is a 100% smoke-free facility, and I’m sure you’ll appreciate the amenities throughout the hotel.  Plus, there are numerous shops and restaurants within a short walking distance and many more within easy driving distance.

Note:  Even if you live in the Reno area, consider making reservations to stay at the hotel so you can immerse yourself in the content and spend adequate time in the afternoons and evenings working and thinking about how you are going to make a difference (and make money) teaching teachers (or teaching other professionals).

Our structured meeting times each day are:

8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.              Monday – Thursday
8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.            Friday

Your late afternoons and evenings are “free” so you can explore the Reno-Tahoe area, network with colleagues you’ve met at the seminar, and/or think through and process what you’ve been learning during the day.
